The Musica Sacra Category is open to any type of choir. 
 

No age limit is set for this category.
 

The competing choir must have a minimum number of twenty (20) singers, while the maximum number of singers is forty (40). 
 

The total performance time, excluding entrance and exit, must be a minimum of 12 minutes and must not exceed 14 minutes.

Each competing choir must perform:

• one (1) sacred composition from any period between year 1600 and the 1960s;

• one (1) sacred composition written after 1960; and

• one (1) compulsory sacred piece from the Renaissance period, to be sent to the choir after settlement of registration fee. 
   

All pieces must be sung a cappella or accompanied only by unpitched instruments.
 

The use of microphones and other sound amplification is not allowed.
