General Information

The Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral Festival (AOVICF), held biennially, is named after the late National Artist for Music, Prof. Andrea O. Veneracion, the founding choirmaster of the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers. An esteemed choirmaster and choral clinician, Prof. Veneracion played a pivotal role in the development of choral music across the Philippines. AOVICF is jointly organized by the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) through its Artist Training Division under the CCP Arts Education Department and the Philippine Madrigal Singers. The festival is directed and supervised by the CCP Artistic Director, the PMS Artistic Director, and the AOVICF Festival Director.
