Repertoire

Each competing choir must perform: 

• one (1) Renaissance/Early Baroque Period composition a cappella;
• one (1) Romantic Period composition a cappella;
• one (1) 20th – 21st century composition a cappella; and
• one (1) obligatory piece (to be sent to the choir upon settling of the registration fee).

Guidelines

1. The Mixed Choir Category is open only to mixed (SATB) choirs
2. Singers of any age are welcome to join this category.
3. The competing choir must have a minimum number of twenty (20) singers, while the maximum number of singers is forty (40). However, the number of singers may be reduced for the Renaissance piece
4. The total performance time, excluding entrance and exit, must be a minimum of 16 minutes and must not exceed 18 minutes.
5. All pieces must be sung a cappella or accompanied only by pitchless instruments.
6. Choreography is allowed.
7. The use of microphones and other sound amplification is not allowed.
